Adrienne Blanchard's practice is focused on the interests of companies in life sciences, food, and consumer products, with an emphasis on IP, regulatory, and commercial matters.
Ms. Blanchard's experience includes three years with the federal government developing IP policy, and private practice, initially in an IP boutique, then in national and global law firms. Adrienne started her own practice in 2015.
In her trademarks practice Ms. Blanchard offers a range of services including clearance opinions for trademarks to be used in Canada, filing applications and opposition matters before the Trademarks Office.
In commercial and regulatory matters, Ms. Blanchard negotiates distribution agreements, licences, clinical trial and other agreements, and advises on regulatory compliance. She is an experienced advisor on matters of privacy compliance and defends against access to company information held by governments. She represents clients in various matters before regulatory bodies including Health Canada, the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
